Aminata Holdings is a family “originating” entrepreneurial investment company with its roots in South Africa. The founders are looking at creating a legacy company that will allow for greater penetration into the local and global economy for generations to come, for both family and the communities within the area they operate in.

Aminata Holdings has interests in natural and man-made resources, agriculture, transport and logistics, media and communications, infrastructure and property, professional services, and potential-filled brands (investments).

Our business philosophy is the creation or investment in people-based organizations that have active stakeholders as the heartbeat of the culture of the companies, including employees, customers, suppliers, investors, and communities. Whether wholly-owned or part-owned, Aminata (the name of which has its origin in Swahili) looks to infuse flair, innovation, humility and fun in creating enabling cultures for the people-centric businesses we are involved in.

Aminata Holdings was established in 2015 and has a short history of being a leading entrepreneurial business with its roots in “people first”. The company has a dynamic young board of directors with a wealth of business, parastatal and government experience. The team boasts a wide range of skills, in manufacturing, infrastructure development, chemicals, entertainment, media and communications, event management as well as environmental affairs among others.

The company has embraced and plays a key role in addressing the economic redress
prerogative of the South African government and many in the continent. The company is 100 percent black-owned, 81 percent women-owned, and 81 percent youth-owned.

It is starting to build an excellent reputation for efficiency and ethical behavior. Aminata seeks to invest in high-quality companies that have strong innovative ideas, attractive growth prospects, the potential for leading market position and the ability to
